Amir Hamja is a freelance documentary and street photographer from Chittagong, Bangladesh. Influenced by cinematography he started photography at the end of 2013, when he was a student of Pharmaceutical Science. He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Science and Technology Chittagong. His photographs have been published in leading newspapers, magazines and internet sites around the world. Namely National Geographic Magazine, EyeEm , Guardian, CNN ,Huffington post, The Daily Star  Etc. In 2017 he won the national prize for Bangladesh at Sony World photography Awards, London. Amir graduated in one year photography program from the International Center of Photography 2018 academic year at New York , USA. He is the First Bangaldeshi to be Selceted in ICP ,also the Scholarship recepient at this prestigious photography school.
