Biography
Amir Hamja is a photographer based in New York City. Originally from Chittagong, Bangladesh, Hamja studied Pharmaceutical Science before relocating to New York in 2017, where he began working in photography. Inspired by the language of film, his work documents the intimacy of everyday life in technicolor. His practice spans personal and commissioned work, including long-form documentary and editorial assignments examining social life and contemporary culture.
